Our Shrimping-Eco Tour is the most popular field trips for 2nd grade students in Nassau County, Florida. Home schools, private schools and co-ops have recently learned about this amazing two-hour educational boat trip. With assistance from our onboard marine biologist, we will deploy - then retrieve - an authentic shrimp net. The catch is placed into aquariums for everyone to get an up-close look. The catch is identified, and some species can be passed around, held, or set free on the deck. Don't worry, releasing the catch back into the wild is also part of this interactive cruise, our Shrimping Eco Tour.
This tour opens to the public in June.
